Credits and limits
Understand ranking credits, AI credits, VPN traffic, project limits, and member limits in SERP Lens.
Usage belongs to the active team. Open Settings → Billing to see that team's current plan, balances, renewal dates, and limits.
Usage types
| Usage | What it controls |

| Ranking credits | The keyword, location, device, and refresh combinations your team can track |
| AI credits | Paid AI usage in the AI panel |
| Promotional AI credits | A separate AI allowance when one is attached to your team |
| VPN traffic | The data routed through the VPN during the current allowance period |
| Projects | The number of projects your team can create |
| Members | The number of people your team can invite |
The billing screen shows your team's current amounts. Limits can vary by plan, billing period, add-on, or promotion, so check this screen before changing a setup or subscription.
Ranking credits
Adding tracked keywords shows the required ranking credits before you confirm. The total depends on your selected keywords, locations, devices, and refresh interval. See Rank tracking credits for the calculation.
AI credits
The AI panel displays the team's available AI balance. A request can use different amounts depending on the model and work performed. If your billing screen offers additional AI credits or automatic top-up, it opens the web billing flow for the active team.
VPN traffic
VPN usage is measured as network traffic, not as a count of connections. The location selector and billing screen show whether your team has an allowance, an unlimited entitlement, or needs a different plan. When a finite allowance is exhausted, disconnect the VPN and wait for the displayed renewal date or change the plan.
Projects and members
When the team reaches a project or member limit, SERP Lens prevents another creation or invitation. Remove an existing item where appropriate or open billing to review the team's options.
