After capturing a screenshot, SERP Lens opens the annotation editor where you can mark up the image before saving. The editor includes drawing tools, shapes, text, cropping, and zoom controls.

Annotation tools

Select any tool from the toolbar, then click and drag on the image to apply it.

Color picker

Each annotation tool uses the active color. To change it:
  • Click the color swatch in the toolbar to open the picker
  • Select from the default palette or choose a custom RGB color
  • Save colors to your user palette for quick reuse across sessions
  • Set a default color that new annotations use automatically

Zoom controls

You can also use the zoom preset buttons: 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.

Undo and redo

The editor maintains a full action history, so you can undo back to the original capture.

Saving your work

When you’re done annotating:
  • Save to library — saves to your team’s cloud storage, associated with a project
  • Copy to clipboard — paste into documents, emails, or chat
  • Download — save as a PNG file locally
  • Update existing — overwrite a previously saved screenshot with your new annotations
Press Escape to deselect the current tool without losing your work.
