How VPN credits work
VPN credits are consumed based on the amount of traffic routed through the VPN. The more you browse while connected, the more credits you use. Your team’s VPN credit balance is separate from ranking credits. They’re tracked independently and serve different features.VPN access
VPN is available as an add-on to any SERP Lens plan. The add-on comes with a VPN credit allowance and access to standard or premium locations depending on the tier.VPN is not included in base plans — you need the VPN add-on to access location-based browsing.
Monitoring usage
You can check your team’s VPN credit usage in the in-app billing area, which shows:- Total VPN credits — your plan’s limit (or “Unlimited”)
- Used credits — how much traffic you’ve consumed
- Available credits — remaining balance
Running out of credits
If your VPN credits run out:- Your VPN connection disconnects
- You can still browse normally without VPN
- All other features (rank tracking, screenshots, analysis panels) continue to work
- Purchase additional VPN credits or upgrade your VPN add-on to restore access
