How teams work
- Each team has its own projects, keywords, screenshots, and subscription. Switching teams switches your entire workspace.
- You can belong to multiple teams. Agencies often have one team per client. In-house teams might have one team for the whole company.
- Your subscription is tied to your team, not your personal account. Plan limits (project count, ranking credits, VPN access, team members) apply per team.
Creating a team
When you first sign in to SERP Lens, you’re prompted to create a team. You can also create additional teams later from the team switcher in the sidebar. To create a team:- Click the team switcher in the top-left of the sidebar
- Select Join or create team
- Enter a team name and optionally upload a logo
- Click Create
Team roles

| Admin | Full access — manage members, billing, projects, and all features |
| Member | Access projects, keywords, screenshots, and analysis tools. Cannot manage billing or team settings |
Inviting members
Admins can invite new members directly from the app. The number of invitations depends on your subscription plan.- Click the Add user button in the top-right of the browser
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- They’ll receive an invitation to join your team
Team member limits vary by plan. If you’ve reached your limit, upgrade your plan or remove inactive members to free up seats.
Switching teams
If you belong to multiple teams, switch between them from the team switcher in the sidebar. The switcher lists your teams by name and logo, and shows the plan for the currently selected team. When you switch teams:- Your project list updates to show that team’s projects
- Your VPN connection stays active (credentials are verified for the new team)
- All keyword and screenshot data reflects the new team
